Want to go on an adventure?
We’re excited to host your troop for an adventure! All of our activities are intentionally planned to help your troop build courage, confidence and character. While our programs might look the same as others you might find in the community, our experiences build in communication, skill-building, social and emotional learning, and goal setting. Before you plan your trip to Camp Holloway or Camp Sycamore Hills and select activities, please check our policies and keep our guidelines in mind:
- All requests are due no later than 45 days prior to your camping date. We will try to accomodate all requests, but may not be able to accommodate requests submitted after this time.
- Activity requests are scheduled with full availability. You are able to come to camp earlier or stay later than when you can check-into or check out of your unit. You can communicate any scheduling needs to the adventure specialist but it might limit what activities we can schedule for your troop. Please plan on a full Saturday at camp.
- We cannot honor more than three facilitated activity requests per troop. Downtime is great at camp, and we have found more than three activities make for a rushed day and doesn’t give your troop the ability to explore. We have many resources below to help you fill your time!
- Please note our physical restrictions and age requirements for each activity. Physical restrictions can be found below.
- Requests may not be approved due to staffing, availability, or requests received prior to yours. We will email or call to confirm and, if needed, discuss any scheduling conflicts. You will be notified via e-mail if your request is approved.
- Approved requests will be placed in your CouncilAlignMENT cart for payment. Payment is due for activities before your schedule will be released.
- Refunds are only issued in specific circumstances. Please be aware of our refund policy below.
To request an adventure activity on one of our properties, please FIRST submit a property reservation through CouncilAlignMENT. You must have completed Camp Ready in our Girl Scout training platform to do so.
