As a Girl Scout, girls join a worldwide sisterhood. Girl Scouting offers a safe, fun, and supportive environment that challenges girls to be their best.
Girl Scouts have an extensive variety of opportunities to connect with their local communities by participating in Girl Scout traditions that include leadership, outdoor skills, camping, and community service in a setting filled with friendship, learning, and fun. Activities reach beyond these traditions and also focus on healthy living, the arts, financial literacy, science, technology, and entrepreneurship. Girl Scouts are committed to the mission of making their communities and their world a better place.
Any girl in grades K–12 can join Girl Scouts and experience the time-honored traditions combined with innovative programming. There is a Girl Scout troop suited for every girl at any age level.
The national membership dues are $25 per person and these fees go directly to GSUSA. Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, GSMIDTN is offering a $10 subsidy for all returning and new girls and adults who register from now until July 31. This means registration will be $15 instead of the usual $25.
This year has presented unique challenges to all, and it’s more important than ever before to teach our girls the importance of being a sister to every girl. The Bring a Friend campaign encourages our Girl Scouts to extend our sisterhood to others in a time when it’s most needed.
Girl Scouts are encouraged to “Bring a Friend” to join their troop! After getting permission from troop leaders, girls can use the “Bring a Friend” flyer to invite friends to her troop meetings and to be a part of the Girl Scout sisterhood. Any girl who has friends to join Girl Scouts can fill out the Google Form to receive a special patch for her and her friend!
