Camp Holloway is located on 76 acres in Millersville, Tennessee. It is named in honor of Josephine Groves Holloway, the first Black Girl Scout leader in Middle Tennessee, who was instrumental in creating this camp. Established as a camp for Black girls in 1952, today girls of all races, religions, and backgrounds gather at Camp Holloway to discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together – just as Mrs. Holloway intended.
At Camp Holloway, girls can take part in a variety of outdoor adventures. Girls can experience archery, obstacle courses, rappelling and climbing towers, swimming, team adventure, and tree climbing. It’s also home to one of the two summer resident camps.

Capacity: 20Courage is one of four identical dorm-style cabins located behind Josephine’s Lodge. This cabin has a large room with six bunk beds and a smaller room with two bunk beds. Across from the smaller room are two bathrooms with showers. Sinks are located in the hallway across the bathrooms. The common area is in the center of the cabin and includes a fireplace and a small kitchen area with a stove, microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator. Although these cabins come with some kitchen essentials, please do not depend on them being there. It is strongly advised that you follow the Girl Scout motto “Be Prepared” and bring everything you will need while camping.
Cabin includes two tables, 20 chairs, and four extra single cots with mattresses.

Capacity: 38Groves Cabin is Camp Holloway’s newest Troop House located in “the Hollow” of camp, near Guerney’s Cabin and the Jubilee Gym. This cabin has a large main room for gathering, activities, and meals. There are five bedrooms: two larger rooms each have five sets of bunk beds, sleeping 10 people in each room. There are additional rooms that sleep four, six, and eight people. This cabin features a fully functioning kitchen area with a stove, microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator. There is a large restroom with showers for the girls and a separate individual restroom with a shower for the adults. There is a small back porch with two picnic tables. The Legacy Pavilion is located directly behind this cabin as well and has six additional picnic tables. Although these cabins come with some kitchen essentials, please do not depend on them being there. It is strongly advised that you follow the Girl Scout motto “Be Prepared” and bring everything you will need while camping.

Capacity: 8Inspiration sits on the hill behind the outdoor amphitheater. Drive around the main loop in front of the Lodge and out to the right toward the tent units, making a right turn just before the tent parking lot. Inspiration can be used for smaller troops. The main bedroom is at the front of the cabin. This cabin has six camp mattresses that can be set up on the floor. A bathroom with a shower will be to your left. The kitchen will be through the main bedroom. On the left is a hallway that leads to another full bathroom and two smaller rooms with a bunk bed in each room. To the right of the kitchen is the door to the back deck which overlooks the back of camp.

It also includes deep sinks for washing and rinsing, prep stations, a stove, convection oven, flat top grill, dishwasher, and warmers. You must have commercial kitchen training and First Aid/CPR training to reserve the commercial kitchen. Only groups with reservation and trained staff will be allowed access to the kitchen.
