We are so proud of Girl Scouts for shooting for the stars! Girl Scouts Honors Day will be held on April 27, 2025 at The Hutton Hotel. It will celebrate Stellar Sellers, Highest Awards Winners, and Volunteer Award Winners.

Schedule of the day:

10am: Doors Open

11am: Stellar Sellers Awards Ceremony

12pm-1:30pm: Program Activities (photo booths, SWAPs, and more fun for Girl Scouts!)

12:30pm: Gold Award and Volunteer Award Reception

2pm: Highest and Volunteer Awards Ceremony


Stellar Sellers Award Ceremony at 11am

On April 27, The Stellar Sellers Award Ceremony will begin at 11am at The Hutton Hotel. The doors will open at 10am. We ask that all girls be seated by 10:45am.

  • What to Wear

    Please wear your uniform. Girl Scouts Stellar Seller Award Ceremony is a time where we show off a little formality. Award recipients should wear their official Girl Scout tunic, sash, or vest. It is highly recommended that they wear khaki pants or a skirt with a white shirt to complete the uniform, but it is not required.

  • What to Expect

    The ceremony will last roughly one hour. After the ceremony, there is a Girl Scout program offered to exchange SWAPS, take photos, and make friends!

  • Parking
    • Self Parking: $10 at the Hutton Hotel
    • Valet Parking: Valet parking will be suspended for the day unless someone in your party needs accommodations, and these must be requested ahead of time for staffing purposes.
    • Additional Parking Options: The Hutton Hotel has arranged for discounted parking in various lots nearby, as there is limited parking at the hotel itself. Please consult the parking map for more information, addresses for navigating to those lots, and pricing (ranges from $9-$24 for several hours). Be sure to scan the QR code in the lot you park in before proceeding to Honors Day in order to avoid being ticketed.
    • If you choose to park in the Hutton garage, be aware that some of the main entrances will be blocked off due to traffic flow. Please consult the map below to be sure you enter the garage at the correct place.

  • Check-In Process
    1. Upon arrival, designate one person in your group to go to the check-in area while the rest of the group locates your Stellar Seller seat
    2. At the check in area, you will receive your Girl Scouts Stellar Seller Ceremony Program, Stellar Seller Certificate, T-Shirt, and Cookie Reward (if eligible)
    3. If you are eligible for a Cookie Reward, there will be an index card attached to your envelope for you to sign. After signing, you will be given your item. Please allow enough time to pick up your item. If you are running late, you can pick up your Cookie Reward at the end of the Stellar Sellers Award Ceremony.
    4. After checking in, please proceed to the main room to find your seat

Program Activities from 12-1:30pm

Take a journey through the stars with your own space passport! Make a SWAP, create your own constellation, strike a pose at the photo booth, get to know other Girl Scouts, and encourage Gold Award winners. Complete each activity to earn a prize.


Highest and Volunteer Award Ceremony at 2pm

On April 27, Highest and Volunteer Award Ceremony will begin at 2pm at The Hutton Hotel. We ask that all girls be seated by 1:45pm.

    1. When you arrive, please have one person check in for the awardee; the rest of the party should proceed to the main room to peruse the Gold Award showcase and other spaces to participate in our program.
      1. There is limited space in our event hallway – please continue to move through that space to help make check-in efficient and prevent congestion.
    2. The person checking in will receive an award ceremony program, as well as any applicable certificates or gifts. Some awards, such as Silver and Gold awards, will be presented on stage, but everyone will receive a check-in envelope with various information.
    3. Once you have checked in, please proceed to the main room to locate your party and your awardee’s seat for the event.
    4. We ask that all awardees be seated by 1:45 PM for the ceremony to begin at 2 PM
