Girl Scouts across the country will celebrate Girl Scouts’ birthday later this month, and we’re excited to join in the fun during National Girl Scout Week!
Girl Scout Week is celebrated each March, starting on a Sunday and ending on Saturday, and always includes Girl Scouts’ birthday, March 12.
This year, we’ve got seven days of fun activities to help you celebrate your connection with Girl Scouts!
Sunday, March 11: Girl Scout Sunday
Reconnect with the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and reflect on what it means to you. Check with your preferred place of worship for the opportunity to be recognized as a Girl Scout!
Monday, March 12: STEAM Day
Be a critical thinker and solve a problem using science, technology, engineering, arts or math (STEAM)! Think about which subject you prefer and write a few sentences about how you can use that subject to make a change in your community.
Tuesday, March 13: Outdoor Adventure Day
Get outdoors! Explore a park near you, try a new outdoor activity with friends or sign up for Girl Scout Summer Camp! Hold an activity you would normally do inside in an outdoor location.
Wednesday, March 14: Healthy Living Day
Step out of your comfort zone and try a new recipe. Work together with friends or family to create a well-balanced meal.
Thursday, March 15: Throwback Thursday
Visit the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee Museum and stop by the Cabin at the Nashville Service Center to learn more about the history of Girl Scouts. Take a look at Girl Scout uniforms of the past and imagine camping under the stars in those uniforms today!
Friday, March 16: Entrepreneur Day
Be your own boss! Visit a locally owned business, and brainstorm ways you can improve your entrepreneur skills using the Girl Scout Cookie Program.
Saturday, March 17: Girl Scout Sabbath
Think about earning your My Promise, My Faith pin, and learn more about faiths different from your own.
