Help Out

Discover: At the Girl Scouts, we help girls understand themselves and their values and use their knowledge and skills to explore the world.

Connect: At the Girl Scouts, we help girls care about, inspire, and team with others locally and globally.

Take action: At the Girl Scouts, girls act to make the world a better place.

How you can help: The Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee spends $325 per girl to deliver the Girl Scout program. By contributing financially or through volunteerism to the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, you’re helping fulfill our mission of making Girl Scouting available to every girl who wants to join.  Contributions directly impact girls in the Middle Tennessee region.

Last year, donations provided:

  • More than 2,000 girls with financial aid that allowed them to participate in Girl Scouts.
  • Veterinary care and feed for 40 horses at Camp Sycamore Hills, which hosts camping and outdoor programming to Girl Scouts year-round.
  • Trained more than 50 college women to become troop leaders for Project L.E.A.D. which provides the Girl Scout experience to low-income girls.
  • Rent and utilities for nine service centers that support volunteers in 39 counties throughout Middle Tennessee.
  • Trained more than 1,000 adult volunteers who make Girl Scouts possible to almost 14,000 girls in Middle Tennessee.
