Girl Scouts: it’s where you belong.

Early Bird Renewal starts next week, and we couldn’t be more excited about it! From a troop adventure weekend to sweet new patches, here are five of our favorite reasons you should renew your membership during Early Bird.

1. You’ll give them amazing experiences for another year!

When your troop continues another year with Girl Scouts, they will have another years’ worth of opportunities to stand up, speak up, and take the lead. Will they find a sustainable solution to a problem in their community? Will they explore the great outdoors? Build a robot? Learn to code? Conduct an experiment? With Girl Scouts, the possibilities are truly endless. Renewing during Early Bird means they’ll discover all they can be and everything they can accomplish when they have the right tools and a safe space to shine.

2. You can win a Drawing for a Troop Adventure Weekend at GSMIDTN Camp Property!

Troops who renew 100% girl and adult safety ratio memberships within the first week of renewal will be entered to win a weekend of adventure at their choice of Camp Holloway or Camp Sycamore Hills! GSMIDTN will provide the lodging of your choice, a pizza dinner, one tie-dye kit and one archery/slingshot experience per girl, and a $75 Amazon gift card to cover troop supplies. Other adventure activities may be booked for additional cost.

3. Your girls love patches, patches, patches!

Who doesn’t love a good patch? Well, during Early Renewal your girl has the opportunity for not just one, but two awesome patches! The 2022-2023 patches feature a center circle and specialized rocker to commemorate their next Girl Scout grade level.

4. Your troop can save money!

The national membership dues are $25 per person and these fees go directly to GSUSA. However, registration will only cost $15* for girls and adults who complete Early Bird Renewal. Just imagine what Girl Scout program or experience your troop could participate in with the money saved!

*Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee will subsidize $10 per member for the 2022-2023 membership year.

5. You can plan ahead for the future!

When school starts up in the fall, the last thing you want is one more thing to add to your to-do list, right? Get ahead of the game, and if your whole troop decides to continue together, you don’t have to worry about registration for another year. Plus, now you can think ahead to all the fun your troop can have next year!
