The Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.

The Girl Scout Law is a staple of Girl Scouts, and should be practiced all the time, to everyone you come across. Most Daisies have it memorized before bridging to Brownies, but it can be tough to carry out sometimes.  As Girl Scouts grow up, they can apply the law in different ways as they face new challenges.  Girl Scouts encourages girls to be thoughtful of others in their words and actions.

With people spending more time online, it is also important to be considerate of what you are saying when you are not face to face with someone. Even when behind a screen, it is important to be kind and respectful to others and their opinions. There are many Girl Scout groups online, and Girl Scouts should be a friend to everyone, even if they act or believe different than you.
