Ignite your Service Unit and unleash your team’s full potential at this year’s SURGE. New and existing Service Unit Managers and their planning teams are invited to join us at Camp Sycamore Hills June 15th! This specialized training is designed to equip service unit teams with knowledge needed to effectively lead and support their local troops and provide quality experiences for Girl Scouts in their communities, ultimately helping to build courage, confidence, and character in young girls. Service Unit Teams will come together with the GSMIDTN Membership team for an enriching, empowering and educational recharge! Lunch and Snacks will be provided.

This year, we will have a general session in the morning followed by breakout sessions in the afternoon. Participants may choose from the following: Yoga & Morning Meditation, Classic Camp Activities, Communication Strategies, Leadership Skills, Conflict Resolution, Effectively Using Technology, Recruitment Strategies, Trauma Informed Care, STEM in Girl Scouts, Product Programs Training, Outdoor Cooking, as well as Crafts and Free Time to mingle and get to know your fellow Service Unit Teams. End the day with a dip in the refreshing Sycamore Pool!

For a small additional fee, you may also choose to add the following activities to your day: CPR/First Aid, Commercial Kitchen Certification, High ropes, Team Adventure, Canoeing, Woodworking, Leatherworking.
