Whether you’re sitting by a campfire, having a sleepover with your troop, or looking for the perfect snack, there’s one delicious staple for any Girl Scout – s’mores! This classic treat is something that generations of Girl Scouts have been enjoying. In fact, Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee loves this tasty treat so much, we actually broke the Guinness World Record for the most s’mores made simultaneously in 2018! So break out your trusty milk chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers, and join us in celebrating this year’s National S’mores Day on August 10! To help you and your troop get in the spirit, we’ve included some of our favorite s’mores recipes below. Enjoy!

Classic S’mores Recipe
This very same recipe is the one that GSMIDTN used to break the Guinness World Record in 2018. If 801 Girl Scouts loved this recipe enough to set a world record with it, it’s sure to be a hit for you and troop this year!
Ingredients: Hershey’s Milk Chocolate + Marshmallows + Golden Graham Crackers
Peppermint Pattie S’mores
Calling all Thin Mints lovers! This s’more is similar to the classic recipe, but with a minty twist! All you need to do is swap out the Hershey’s Milk Chocolate for a York Peppermint Pattie.
Ingredients: York Peppermint Pattie + Marshmallows + Golden Graham Crackers
Chocolate Covered Strawberry S’mores
Are you a fan of chocolate-covered strawberries? This s’more recipe will be perfect for you! Swap out the regular marshmallows with strawberry-flavored marshmallows for a fruity spin.
Ingredients: Hershey’s Milk Chocolate + Strawberry Marshmallows + Golden Graham Crackers
Peanut Butter S’mores
Peanut butter doesn’t just make delicious Tagalongs – it can be a tasty ingredient for s’mores too! To make this recipe, just use a Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup instead of the Hershey’s Milk Chocolate.
Ingredients: Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup + Marshmallows + Golden Graham Crackers
S’moreo
We all love a good s’more made with graham crackers, but have you ever tried it with Oreos? To make s’moreos, replace the graham crackers with Oreos. The Hershey’s Milk Chocolate is optional in this recipe, depending on how much chocolate you want.
Ingredients: Hershey’s Milk Chocolate (optional) + Marshmallows + Oreos
Double Chocolate S’mores
For those of us who love a little extra chocolate, use chocolate graham crackers instead of golden graham crackers!
Ingredients: Hershey’s Milk Chocolate + Marshmallows + Chocolate Graham Crackers
Trefoil S’mores
As Girl Scouts, we all know that Girl Scout Cookies make EVERYTHING better. For this recipe, simply swap the graham crackers out for Trefoils.
