The air is crisp and the leaves are changing colors at Camp Sycamore Hills. Join us for a day of camp fun to start your Girl Scout year right! Sample some camp activities, screen print a custom shirt, and explore the many resources available to Girl Scouts. Girls will work towards an outdoor badge with activities led by Girl Scout partners. Families are welcome to attend, but must be registered.

This is a come-and-go program from 10 AM – 4 PM. Plan to bring a lunch or purchase from one of the food trucks on-site.

  • Program Information

    All of the following activities are available for you to enjoy!

    Outdoor Art Badges: Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to combine their nature skills and art skills with this fun badge! Girl Scouts of all levels will talk to an artist, make crafts that interact with nature, and use the outdoors to express their creativity!

    REI: REI will be here to help you learn all about eh outdoors! Stop by to play some games and learn all about backpacking!

    Orienteering: Stop into the Multi-Purpose building to learn how to use a compass. Once you’ve got the skills, head outside to practice what you’ve learned!

    Horse barn: Stop into the horse barn to meet members of our herd! The horse barn will be closed from 12-2:30 for lunch.

    Slingshots: Head over to the slingshot range to practice your aim!

    Haunted Whispering Oaks: Explore Whispering Oaks and trick or treat! Then vote for your favorite haunted cabin!

    Screen Printing: Stop by the Art Barn to screen print your own t-shirt. T-shirts are provided!

    Face Painting: Stop by the face painting stations for free face paint.

  • Screenprinting Take Home Instructions
    • Allow the paint on the shirt to completely dry
    • After 24 hours heat set your image with an iron or in the dryer
    • Machine washing instructions:
      • Turn printed shirt(s) inside out
      • Use a mild detergent
      • Cold water
      • Gentle cycle
    • Fading of the print is normal after multiple washes

  • Arrival and Parking

    Staff members will direct you to a parking lot. Please make sure you are backing into your spot when parking. After parking, please use the Check-in QR code to let us know who all is present. Then you are welcome to explore at your own pace.  

  • Non-Girl Scout Adults and Children

    Tagalongs are any non-Girl Scout children. Please make sure all Tagalongs over 3 are registered for this event. Families are welcome, but every person over 3 must be registered so that we have enough supplies. Register a non-Girl Scout below.

  • Sign Your Liability Waiver

    Every person who comes to a GSMIDTN property is required to sign a property liability waiver. If you sign it in CouncilAlignMENT, it is valid indefinitely. To sign your liability waiver in CouncilAlignMENT follow these instructions:

    1. Log into your CouncilAlignMENT account at https://ca52.councilalignment.org
    2. Click on “View Profile.”
    3. On the menu at the top of your profile, click “Property Liability Waiver.”
    4. Read the information.
    5. Click “Accept” if you agree to the terms

    If you do not have a CouncilAlignMENT account, sign your liability waiver by clicking the button below. This waiver is valid ONLY for Fall Into Girl Scouts on October 26, 2024.
