Horses
Since 1971, the horses at Camp Sycamore Hills have played a significant role in enhancing leadership experiences for girls. Today, under the direction of Carol Coats and Marianne England, Camp Sycamore Hills is home to 40 horses and offers programming to help Girl Scouts start their journey to leadership by discovering the world of horses and experiencing horsemanship first-hand.
Horse programs call girls to take action in what matters to them. There are horse programs available for girls of all ages and skill levels to best fit the needs of the troop or individual.
