Lovie’s Legacy

Creature Care
Lovie’s Legacy has a goal - to end animal suffering through education and financial support of animal welfare needs. Creature Care is a free program that teaches children about the basic needs and care of animals and how that parallels the needs and cares of humans.  Children also get to interact with a Delta certified therapy dog.  Girl Scout Daisy and Brownie troops who would like to schedule a program should contact Shana King at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or by calling (615) 830-8872.

Back-2-School Backpacks

World Relief Nashville resettles refugees from around the world (Bhutan, Burma, Iraq and Somalia and others) in middle Tennessee and helps them become self-sufficient.  Each year, World Relief Nashville collects backpacks and school supples for refugee children.  Although there is a big push at the beginning of the school year, they get new refugee arrivals year-round. The refugee children must be enrolled in school within 30 days of their arrival to Nashville, so the need is constant.  Call (615) 833-7735 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for more details.
