Science & Technology
Another crucial part of being a leader today and tomorrow is recognizing the important role that science and technology plays in our society. The Girl Scouts exposes girls to relevant and innovative programming that can lead them to discovery. The Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee offers career clinics that show girls professions that are in high demand and can lead to long-term success. There are also opportunities to engage with partnering organizations that foster imagination and teach the fundamentals of both science and technology both indoors and out. For more information, please contact the program department.

Virtual Pet Tea Party for Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies
What is a Virtual Pet Tea Party? Wear a fancy boa or outrageous party hat and bring your Webkinz, Littlest Pet Shop or Tomagachi pals to share the fun. We’ll play online games, look at your pet’s online home and make a special treat for your pet while we eat cookies and drink tea. Don’t worry if you don’t have a virtual pet - bring your favorite stuffed animal and learn about these online habitats. We’ll talk about etiquette and netiquette – manners when you’re sitting at the table and manners when you’re online.
When: February 14 (Valentine’s Day) from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Where: Girl Scout City Center, Nashville
Who: Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies
