Girl Scouts builds girls who will learn skills for success and develop a devotion to God in a wholesome, fun environment.

Catch the Spirit! Girl Scout faith based troops and programs encourage girls to develop a deeper relationship with God and to understand how God is active in their lives and in the world around them. Girl Scouts encourages girls to grow in their faith through traditional activities in partnership with many local religious organizations and with P.R.A.Y. (Programs of Religious Activities with Youth).

While we believe the motivating force in Girl Scouts is a spiritual one, we do not attempt to dictate the form of a member’s worship. The Girl Scout faith based programs are designed to be easily adaptable and incorporated into the tenants of faith outlined by each girl’s family and chosen religion. Girls may join our organization as a member of a troop or as an individual member.
