Cookie Program
Cookie, a word that is synonymous with Girl Scouts, has been a household name for more than 91 years. The Girl Scout Cookie Program is a vehicle to teach girls financial literacy, goal setting, teamwork and customer service skills. This experience also helps to build leadership skills.
The Cookie Program activities that help to shape this leadership experience are described in the Girl Scout Cookie Program Activity Kit. The revenue earned by the girls stays with the girls and helps fund the programs that they participate in. When people purchase a package of cookies, they’re investing in their community by investing in Girl Scouts.
