The Girl Scout Journey
The Girl Scout journey is one that offers girls many different paths to discover. The Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee offer adventure, equestrian and travel programs that challenge girls to try something they may not have done without the Girl Scout journey. Girl can also earn patches and badges for their efforts. Whether a girl is canoeing on a peaceful river, rappelling off a cliff or wall, riding a horse for the first time or traveling abroad the Girl Scouts calls all girls to discover, connect and take action to become a solid leader of tomorrow with these character-building programs.

Girl Scout troop and teen travel send girls on an actual journey whether it’s across the state or across the ocean. The travel experience teaches skills like organization and how to earn resources to pay for the trip. Girl Scout travel also encourages girls to discover new cultures and experiences that are out of the norm. Troop travel is available to girls in fifth grade and above and location is dependent upon previous travel experience.
Experience Destinations Travel
The Girl Scouts also sponsor international travel through Destinations where they can travel the world Girl Scout centers in England, Switzerland, India and Mexico, or anywhere else Destinations might take them.
