Volunteer with Girl Scouts
Adult volunteers are a vital part of the Girl Scout organization, helping girls grow into strong young women with the tools and training they need to achieve their goals. Through your leadership and guidance girls will develop new skills and build self-esteem while making friends and having fun. Whether a stay-at-home parent, professional or college student, you too can become an adult volunteer and a positive influence on the lives of girls in your community!
Here you’ll find the information you need to stay informed and help your troop and yourself to begin a journey that could last a lifetime.
FLEXIBILITY: You have the flexibility to decide when, where and how often your troop will meet.
HAVING FUN: Throughout the year you’ll be able to take your troop to programs and events such as nature conservatories, self-esteem seminars, swimming at camp, ice skating or the symphony.
RESOURCES: Meet up with other leaders to exchange ideas for troop activities and stay updated on the opportunities available in your community.
Girl Scouts works with your interests, talents and profession to find the best fit for you. Whether it’s technology, arts, sports or business, you can help girls explore the world of opportunities available to them.
