Fun Things for Girl Scouts

Dear Daisy,
I have been in Girl Scouts for 4 years. I am on the verge of quitting. The problem is we do not do anything fun. We do things our troop leaders tell us to do. These activities are so lame. We want to do fun things that girls want to do.

Dear Valerie,
I would get together with the girls in your troop aside from a troop meeting. Write out a list of fun things things that you would like to do as a troop - but make sure you can achieve your goals as a troop through these activities. (Going shopping every week for two months doesn’t achieve your goals!) At the next troop meeting, you should show the list to your troop leader and tell her how you feel. Your troop leader should be supportive of your choices and compromise with you to make troop time fun.
