Nee Kah Nah
With its name coming from the Cherokee word for “friendship crossing”, Camp Nee Kah Nah is a great place for girls to form friendships and experience the wonder and fun of outdoor camping. Camp Nee Kah Nah is located along the beautiful rolling hills west of Gainesboro, Tennessee, and covers 354 acres. Cherokee artifacts from centuries ago have been found at the camp, which is registered with the state of Tennessee as an archeological site.
This well-planned and beautifully maintained site makes a great first time trip for inexperienced campers who are just venturing into primitive tent camping. Aside from it’s great lodge, campers can participate in activities include: archery, canoeing and kayaking.
