LA GoldmanAs CEO of the ultimate CYA company, Spanx, Laurie Ann Goldman has lead the way in a business that is focused on the behind. Laurie Ann Goldman has held the position of CEO at Spanx, Inc. since 2002 and has more than 25 years of experience in the manufacturing, retail and licensing industries.

Since 2002, Laurie Ann Goldman has grown Spanx from a groundbreaking startup to a global industry-leading enterprise with problem-solving products that have changed the way women, and now men, look and feel. Goldman has led the entrepreneurial company through launching new brands (Assets and Haute Contour), product expansion, the launch of international sales, and the diversity of distribution channels.

Under her leadership, Spanx has become the number one shape wear brand in major department stores as the bright red package has captured the attention of celebrities, such as Oprah, Madonna, and Gwyneth Paltrow, corporate women and stay at home moms…who all share an interest in shaping things up a bit. Through Spanx innovative products, women are finding solutions to fashion faux pas like VPL and muffin top.

Before joining Spanx, she spent ten years with The Coca-Cola Company as the leader of its world-wide licensing division, expanding the licensing business to 54 countries and nearly a billion dollars in retail sales. Prior to Coke, she managed event marketing at Macy’s Department Store where she created and managed special events for more than 48 stores in the Macy’s South and Bullock’s divisions.

Laurie Ann has been interviewed by various media including CNBC, Forbes, The Wall St. Journal, Fortune and USA Today. As a speaker, she has appeared before such groups as The American Heart Association, The National Charity League, multiple Jewish Federations, The Strategy Institute, and several business schools.

Laurie Ann currently serves on multiple boards engaged in community, philanthropic and professional development. She is on the board for The Committee of 200 (C200), the Jewish Federation of Atlanta, and Pace Academy and remains an active volunteer in the Atlanta community. She also represented the Jewish Committee before Israel‘s Minister of Defense and received the privilege of running the Olympic torch through the streets of Atlanta.

Laurie Ann lives in Buckhead with her husband and three sons. When she’s not working to rid the world of panty lines and back fat, she enjoys hand bag shopping, playing with her puppy Lu Lu, and most of all, spending time with her boys.
