Girl Scouts

We will learn survival skills, orienteering, knots, fire building, knife safety and more. We will also be making first aid kits, as well as how to cook over an open fire.

TWISTER

High school girls are invited to register for the 2012 Tennessee Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Research (TWISTER) Hands-on STEM Science Conference scheduled for February 11, 2012. During this day-long event participants attend interactive hands-on sessions with professional women representing over 20 fields. Girls will network, learn about college opportunities and internships, have lunch with the presenters with similar interests, and take home resources and unique experiences that may open doors to new possibilities.

Seniors may apply for the Women in Technology of Tennessee College Scholarship opportunity for a chance to win a $2500 or $1000 award.
