Red Cross Babysitting Certification

This course provides Red Cross certification for babysitting and includes information about business basics, emergency care and practical childcare skills, like diapering and feeding. Participants will receive a pocket emergency guide, babysitter’s book and a CD-ROM with activities and as well as business card and resume templates. First aid and CPR are offered for both child and infant certification.

All participants should have breakfast beforehand and bring a sack lunch for Saturday, as well as toiletries and a sleeping bag or bedding for this overnight class. You will also need an 18” vinyl doll to practice with. There must be one adult per girl or troop in order to meet Safety Checkpoint requirements.
