$250.00 per girl; $Girls only event. per adult; includes all Campus Tours’ accommodations, transportation, meals and a reservation to attend Girl University.
Picking a college is tough and finding time to visit one is even tougher. Luckily, Girl Scouts has Campus Tours, a weeklong college road trip across Tennessee, where Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts in rising 9-12 grades are exposed to five Tennessee universities. From dorm life to student life, girls will have the opportunity to tour each school and meet with university personnel, who will explain the admission’s process as well as the ins and outs of college life.
Parents are also invited to Girl University on July 14, a day of workshops dedicated to preparing parents and girls for college. The cost of Girl University is $25.00 for parents and girls, who are not attending Campus Tours.
Campus Tours will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 14 at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro and will conclude on Wednesday, July 18 at 11:30 a.m. at David Lipscomb University in Nashville.
