DESCRIPTION:<p>This <em>Kids in the Kitchen</em> is for grades 4-6.</p>\n<p
 >Ladies from the Junior League will be demonstrating various food preparat
 ion techniques and assist the children in preparing healthy snacks and mea
 ls that are tasty and easy. In addition to lessons on healthy foods\, othe
 r activities including exercise demonstrations and other healthy living ex
 amples will be led. Each attendee will receive take-home materials that in
 clude learning exercises for kids\, tips on nutrition\, recipes and other 
 information on the childhood obesity problem.</p>\n<p>The goal of the Juni
 or Leagues’ <em>Kids in the Kitchen</em> is to promote children’s health a
 nd wellness by empowering children and youth to make healthy lifestyle cho
 ices\; therefore\, preventing obesity and its associated health risks.</p>
